Hello Backers!

We just received approval for our BackerKit page, and will be sending out surveys tomorrow!

Once you receive your survey, please fill it out in a timely manner. Below are a few of the questions we will be asking through the survey…

Shipping address- Your shipping address will be used to fulfill your order. Please note that the FlickDecks will be sent out between mid-late March. If you anticipate a move between now and then, please use your new address. If for some reason your address changes between the end of the surveys and fulfillment, please reach out to us and we can make sure you get your FlickDeck delivered to the right address.

Color Choice- Please select the color choice you would like for your FlickDeck. If you pledged for multiple FlickDecks you will have the option to select the color for each FlickDeck. All FlickDecks will come with natural, polished aluminum bearing caps.

Extra FlickDecks- If you would like to order more FlickDecks at your pledge level you must do so before the BackerKit surveys close on February 15th. If you pledged extra funds during the Kickstarter, you will have the option to use these funds towards extra FlickDecks. You may also use a credit card through BackerKit to add more FlickDecks. Your card will be processed as soon as the surveys close on February 15th. There will be no added shipping costs when extra FlickDecks are added.

Ceramic bearing add on- The ceramic bearing add-on will be an exclusive add-on for Kickstarter backers. The ceramic bearing will REPLACE the traditional steel bearing in your FlickDeck and will be pre-assembled by us. To prevent the FlickDeck from loosening or falling apart over time, our assembly process will use a light epoxy to lock the bearings in place. Because of this, we will not be sending out add-on bearings as separate items. The cost for a ceramic bearing upgrade will be $6 and factors in the removal of the steel bearing cost to. Below is an estimated timeline for the rest of the project. We will post more updates along the way and share more updates with you as we move forward. Stretch Goals and Increasing Pledge Levels

We apologize for the delay in posting our first stretch goals. We have been working with our manufacturer to make sure our stretch goals were possible before posting them. We are happy to announce our first two stretch goals and answer a few questions about increasing pledges and second FlickDecks.

Stretch Goal 1- $5000- Metal Bearing Caps

We are already very close to our first stretch goal and hope to reach it soon! After several requests, we have made it possible to switch the bearing caps from plastic to machined aluminum if we can break the $5000 pledge level! This would be standard for ALL FlickDecks and not just an add-on.

Stretch Goal 2- $8000- Kickstarter Limited-Edition Green

After working with our manufacture, we are able to add a new green color option if we can reach $8000 in pledges!

Increasing Pledges and backerKit

We have had several backers ask us about ordering more FlickDecks. We want to let you know that we will be using BackerKit once our campaign has ended to complete surveys, add-on FlickDecks, and complete fulfillment.

However, if you are interested in receiving a second FlickDeck, we recommend increasing your pledge by your tier level for the number of extra FlickDecks you would like. Once the campaign is over, these extra funds can be distributed very easily within BackerKit towards the extra FlickDecks. Pledging through the Kickstarter helps us predict production quantities earlier in the campaign and will also help us reach our stretch goals through the Kickstarter.
